Ginger+Thyme Pop-Up Dinner
Barnett on Washington is excited to launch a series of Pop-Up Dinners featuring some of St. Louis's most renowned chef's. Join us for our series kickoff, Ginger+Thyme, featuring Chef Josh Charles and Mixologists Robert Somerscales and Noah Prince-Goldberg.
Area rising star, Chef Josh Charles, is a young and innovative chef that took over the reins as Executive Chef at Element Restaurant & Lounge in 2015. He gained a following as chef de cuisine at Tower Groves Elaia & Olio. Josh created a menu for our Ginger+Thyme dinner that brings an American philosophy on Asian cuisine.
Also joining us for Ginger+Thyme are the founders of Artisan-Well bartending service. Robert Somerscales and Noah Prince-Goldberg have a combined 27 years of industry experience spanning from Hawaii, New Orleans, and now here in St. Louis. Robert and Noah have carefully crafted delicious libations to pair perfectly with Joshs menu.
The ambiance of our dinner will be set amidst the beautiful Spanish-Mission style venue, Barnett on Washington. Constructed in 1921, Barnett on Washington was originally built to be the home of Central States Life Insurance Company, and was designed by preeminent local architect, Tom P. Barnett. The elegant design of the building features 45 foot tall ceilings, a spacious square balcony, and a double stair case that wraps around the front entrance. It features a Spanish Mission style of construction and maintains its historic look and appeal while boasting the highest quality modern amenities.
