April March

April March began her burlesque career in 1952 at The Theater Lounge in Dallas, TX. By the time she was eighteen years old, April March was touring, playing clubs and theaters across the United States, Canada and Mexico. She was called The First Lady of Burlesque, in part because of her resemblance to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, but mostly due to her ladylike behavior on and off stage. Never crass or profane, April was the personification of the elegant stripteaser and became known for her class and grace. April headlined two Harold Minsky shows, and Ann Corios show This Was Burlesque on Broadway. In 1964 April appeared in a short film by Jim Henson called Time Piece and recently appeared in Behind The Burly Q. She is the only permanent Guest of Honor at The Great Burlesque Exposition. In 2009, April graced their stage for the first time in thirty-one years. Her act received a standing ovation.

Diamond Minx

Diamond Minx is a glittering star in the crown of Canadian Burlesque - known for her elaborate over-the-top costume designs and classic performance style, Miss Minx just drips rhinestones and feathers. Both a performer and producer of shows such as Velvet Hearts Burlesque and Naked Girls Reading Vancouver, as well as one of the Board members behind the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival (2008/2009 and 2015/2016), Diamond came to the world of Burlesque in 2003 after a decade as a professional variety entertainer. She is passionate about the art form and adores the glamour and elegance of classic Burlesque.

Paige "Ponyboy" Frewer

Ponyboy is an internationally recognized Drag King. As the Creator/Producer of the gender bending spectacle that is Man Up, this talented artist, community builder, and local Vancouver celeb requires no further introduction.

Sweetpea

Sweetpea's mission is to promote and nurture the experience and expression of authentic health and joy by caring for, connecting to, and fully inhabiting our bodies...especially by revealing them.
Her Royal Sweetness has been teasing & pleasing by way of burlesque for over a decade.  Shes a producer of many incredible events, including the Best of Midwest Burlesk Festival, Diversi-Tease, Grown & Sexy Productions, her signature Soirée series, and in 2012 joined the production team for the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend to produce the Burlesque Living Legend night, The Titans of Tease Showcase.

Lola has headlined the Colorado, Stockholm, Windy City, Calgary, and South West Burlesque Festivals, been voted into the top 50 of Burlesque figures 4 years running, and holds the title of 2nd runner up Miss Exotic World 2013. Frost embodies a true 1920s starlet with a kiss of Ramones grit, blending her anachronistic style of vintage and modern on stage with a strong dose of confronting sensuality and strength.

Mat Fraser

Mat is a multi disciplinary performing artist, actor, writer, and musician, who over the last 18 years has played to audiences from The Olympic stadium in London, The Royal Albert Hall, to many dive bars and late night clubs in NYC and elsewhere, all the while employing his Cripping up the scene attitude of working as a Disability Artist within mainstream arts environments. Recently he starred in the 4th series of "American Horror Story: Freak Show", and in 2013 he and his partner in art and life Julie Atlas Muz, created an adult, hit version of Beauty and the Beast through their company ONEOFUS. His recent museum site specific solo show Cabinet of Curiosities: How Disability Was Kept in a Box, won the UK's Observer Ethical Award for Arts & Entertainment 2014, and his current project is a rock band, The Spazms.

Julie proudly champions the tradition of naked ladies in public spaces as acts of political resistance initiated in the 11th century by Lady Godiva.
