BUILD: IDEAS brings together a diverse group of people across practice and profession to have conversations surrounding the future of cities - especially San Francisco. Over the course of the year we will be inviting artists, policy makers, architects, academics, developers, and others to present at these salons on a topic around the future of cities and in particular San Francisco.

The goal of these salon-like conversations is to spark new connections, inspire doers, and enjoy good food, wine and company.

This evening features Helle Søholt, the Founding Partner and CEO of Gehl Architects. She started Gehl Architects with Professor Jan Gehl in 2000. Through her leadership, strategic and organizational talent, the office has developed a knowledge base and experience portfolio that is respected internationally in the field of urban design and urban development. Over the years of its existence, Gehl Architects has been awarded multiple prizes and recognitions for their contribution to making cities more livable and sustainable around the world.
