Securing Employment in Community Mental Health - April 29, 2016
This workshop is designed to support students and recent graduates in securing employment in community mental health settings at the pre-license level (positions that provide hours toward licensure).
Workshop content will include:
+ Community mental health funding priorities + Strategies for locating position openings + Maximizing your relevant skill sets + Enhancing your skills while searching for a position
This workshop is for students and recent graduates of psychology, counseling and social work (MFT, LPCC, MSW, etc.) programs who are interested in working in the community mental health sector and/or for DMH contracted agencies. Workshop participants should have clinical training experience.
PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING AN UP-TO-DATE RESUME.
Workshop participants will receive resource materials.
Light refreshments will be served.
