Memories 9th Year Campout
This camp out is to recognize those that we have loved and lost! Originally founded by members of the Classic Grooves crew, Dj Chipy, XiM, NS, Kristyle, Overdrive and many others, the event keeps growing and growing. Due to the familiar feeling many have had with loosing a loved one, this event has become ultimately dedicated to anyone that wants to celebrate the life of those we have loved and lost through music and dance! Originally Dedicated to Timothy Phillips and C.T Eagler, the entire event pauses for a moment of silence to remember (thus called Memories) the people we have loved and lost. Some laugh, some cry but the main point is to remember and celebrate their lives through music and dance! This years theme is "back to the basics" and will prove to many a powerful experience! Stay tuned for more info as we progress into an event like no other!

FOREST GREEN (Cute Fang Recordings, forestgreen.org)
Starting her DJ journey in the 1990's San Francisco underground, Forest Green continues to explore the art of rocking the dance floor, and mastering the mix. 12 years later, she continues taking things to the next level, amazing crowds with her high energy, hot bass lines, and soul gripping grooves. Expect to hear only the freshest jamz, as she searches high and low for the most cutting edge, floor shaking, booty quaking EDM the world has to offer, and brings it straight to you!
Forest is a featured DJ in the popular, indie film GROOVE. GROOVE was accepted to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in 2000, and was the first film bought that year by Sony Picture Classics. Groove is an independent feature film based on one night in the San Francisco Underground Rave Scene back in the early 1990s.
She is super excited to be working on her own electronic music production, sometimes under the name Forest Green, and sometimes under the name Cute Things With Fangs on Cute Fang Recordings. Her most recent, original music productions will debut this summer, bringing her back to Europe, and all over North America.
Tireless in her support of the rave as an outlet for personal and artistic expression Forest has rightly gained fame as a consummately professional DJ and live performer, earning the respect not only of her audience, but the promoters who work with her. She has a special love and dedication to collectives and artists that push the envelop of any electronic medium while keeping in mind the true freedom we are all entitled to through our artistic creation and exploration.
Dragn'fly (djdragnfly.com, Strategik)
They say DJs are a "dime a dozen". If that's true, then Dragn'fly is worth a million. With jedi-like mixing skills and a sweetly stocked cross-genre arsinal of tunage, Dragn'fly has gained an international recognition for her ability to turn just about any dancefloor into a sea of flailing appendages. Since her debut in 1998, she's played over 1,500 events nationwide as well as in Mexico, Germany and Brazil and with no end in site, it's just a matter of time before world dancefloor domination commences. If you see the name Dragn'fly on a lineup at party near you, then you can rest assured, you're in for a treat!
Dj Denise (djdenise.com)
DJ Denise cut her teeth in the underground scene of late-90s San Francisco. Her natural talent and energy behind the decks caused a meteoric rise from partygoer to local hero, and before her first year of DJing was out, Denise was playing weekly for crowds of hundreds and thousands, and traveling across the United States and Canada. But the glory days of San Francisco's large-scale venues and 10,000-head "massives" started dwindling after a few years, and the scene was pushed into smaller, illegitimate venues. Sensing the shift in both venues' and crowds' tastes, Denise saw that her beats could be tailored for a new type of partygoer: the musicsavvy clubber. Eager to develop as an artist, she began studying for a degree in Recording Arts while launching her own studio and fledgling label: Mizumo Music.
Mizumo Music, founded in 2002, began as a hybrid record label and booking company, but by 2006 had expanded and established itself as a quality house label and began releasing vinyl E.P.s (by Los Angeles' Raoul Zerna and Colombia's Groove Man). However, more changes loomed on the horizon: vinyl was fast being outmoded, and in 2007, Denise made the call to move to a purely digital format.
Despite Denise's lost love of dusty vinyl, digital turned out to be the key to Mizumo's success, which is now booming. The release schedule is packed with artists both local and international: Stupid Fresh (UK), DJ Rage (France), Angel Alanis (US), Calvertron (UK), Sharooz (UK), Pette Vaydex (Slovenia), Mike Balance (US), Markus Ferdinand (Germany), DJ Kue (US), Homero Espinosa (US), Ricardo Reyna (Mexico), Vinjay (Italy), Electrobank (Russia), Beatmaker (Colombia), DJ Exodus (US) and many others, including Denise herself, whose production talents have proved to be as naturally successful as her skills behind the decks. Others have taken notice of her production skills as well, including DJ Shortee, Simply Jeff, and SOS from the infamous super club Ministry of Sound, who have all licensed her music for their mix CDs.
Now in her twelfth year as a heavy hitter in the electronic music scene, DJ Denise has made her name known across the globe. Her original productions and remixes can be found in EPs amidst world renowned artists like Jesse Rose, Twocker, Funkagenda, Riva Starr, Reid Speed, Tony Thomas, Robb G, Mark Trophy, The Bulgarian, Kyle Watson, and many others. Look for her productions on Beatport, iTunes, Trackitdown, Junodownload and all other quality digital download sites.
