BRASS
BEING RESPONSIBLE ALCOHOL SERVERS and SELLERS
The BRASS program is a leading server education program. The BRASS program provides a complete education to all employees of a licensed beverage establishment on the methods of assisting customers to make responsible decisions when making choices concerning beverage alcohol. BRASS covers such topics as: the clinical effects of alcohol, applying techniques of alcohol management designed to prevent possible adverse situations from arising, customer disturbances, conflict management, identification procedures, and state and local laws.
BRASS is a comprehensive approach to employee training. It is unique because it is a program that was actually developed by KS licensees for all licensees. A BRASS education is so highly regarded that licensees may benefit by a significant reduction in insurance rates and/or increased wages for trained employees.
BRASS server/management seminars were certified by the Alcohol Beverage Control, a division of the Kansas Department of Revenue.
Phil Bradley will be offering this class on Monday, April 25th at 6p.m. Class will be held at Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery,
11000 S Woodland Rd, Olathe, KS 66061. Class sponsored by the Kansas Viticulture and Farm Winery Association.
Cost for each attendee is $50.
Phil will present a seminar that covers several areas of benefit to today alcohol professionals. Current events, a legislative briefing, history of KS statutes and server training, We will be doing a select elements presentation from the BRASS program, a leading server education curriculum. The full BRASS course provides a complete education to all employees of a licensed beverage establishment on the methods of assisting customers to make responsible decisions when making choices concerning beverage alcohol.
