Chairful Where You Sit 2016 - Artists Registration
About the Exhibit:
- The exhibit is sponsored by Arlington Public Art and will be held in front of the Cyrus E. Dallin Art Museum, 611 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington Center, from July 21 (drop-off) through July 24, 2016.
- Chairs will be outside on display for the weekend, so your chair must be able to withstand moisture AND interaction with the public.
- All chairs in our installation will be available to the public for a donation of $100.
- We cannot be responsible for theft, vandalism or damage during the course of the weekend.
- Social media will be used to publicize the exhibit, featuring photos of the chairs in progress and as finished pieces.

Chair Drop Off: Thursday, July 21, 2016 (6 to 8pm)
Reception & Preview: Friday, July 22, 2016 (6 to 8 pm) with a performance by TrueStoryTheater
Chairs Exhibit: Saturday, July 23 (11 to 8pm) Dallin Museum Picnic in the Park featuring the Creek River String Band
Closing Reception & Awards: Sunday, July24 (4 to 6pm)
If your piece is sold, you agree to donate to Arlington Public Art (APA):
Option 1: The full amount of the sale price ($100)
Option 2: 50% of the sale price ($50), with the remaining $50 returned to you.
For refunds please complete the W-9 form for reimbursement required by the Town of Arlington
- I understand that my work will be exposed to the weather, and I will not hold APA responsible for damage, theft or vandalism.
- I understand that members of the public may be handling and/or sitting on my chair, and I will not hold APA responsible for damage or other problems that may occur.
- I will drop off my chair during Thursday drop-off hours, and will pick it up promptly at the end of the exhibition if it is unsold.
- I give APA permission to use photos of my work in any publicity to promote APA or Chairful Where You Sit.
I have read all the FAQs above and agree to the terms to participate in Chairful Where You Sit 2016.
We are using this site as an option for online payment - you do not need to print a ticket to submit your chair for the event.
