The Museum of Tolerance and RatPac Documentary Films invite you and a guest to a special screening of
In the Name of Honor
Thursday April 7, 2016 7:00p.m. at the Museum of Tolerance
In the Name of Honor exposes frightening cases of honor killings from India, Jordan and the Palestinian territories. Hindu, Muslim and Christian families all share the tragic experiences of losing their children, often by their own hands, to this ancient and barbaric custom. The film juxtaposes horrific news footage with insights from the families of victims whose lives have been irreparably altered. Commentary from officials and activists fighting the tradition provides additional insights.
Introduction by Brett Ratner.
Q&A following the screening with Director Pawel Gula, Producer Kasia Nabialczyk and Jordan based Human Rights Activist and Attorney, Lubna Dawany.
