The Long Walk, 2012
Join artist Susan Robb for a time-based, open source, and socially engaged art event in which she and 50 trail trampers (*including YOU?) will walk more than 45 miles along the King County Regional Trails System from Golden Gardens Park to Snoqualmie Falls. Over the course of four days - July 26th through 29th - the group will experience the landscape in a unique way, camp in unusual locations, and engage with interactive artworks from, among others, The Snoqualmie Floodplain Players, Jenny Asarnow, Eric Steen, Travis Souza, Michelle Penaloza, and Joyce Wong.
The Long Walk is open to anyone 21+ who can hike an average of 18 miles/day. Participation is limited - sign up now!
