The National Pastime Theater celebrates twenty years as Chicago's premier provocateurs with the fourth annual Naked July: Art Stripped Down. Join us as we Rise from the Embers, throw off our winter blahs and revel in the heat of summer. As the temperature increases, the clothing decreases.
NPT presents Jose Rivera's References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot, directed by NPT's own Keely Haddad-Null, as the main stage production of this year's festival. Mixing desires of the unconscious with the stark reality of alienation in a foreign desert, NPT adds a thick layer of surrealist aesthetic to the naked body.
