The term "shamanism," which first appeared in late 17th century Russia, was used to describe the practices of indigenous/pagan spiritual leaders in Central and Northern Asia. Its definition has since expanded to include similar mystical practices of pagan spiritual leaders worldwide. Join Dr. Claire Fitzpatrick for the first of a series of classes on shamanism, beginning with the ancestral, pre-Christian tribes of Europe. We will learn about the history of shamanic practices in Europe and go on a soul journey to discover our occult shamanistic talents. Dress comfortably.
