Storm Poet Registration

Storm poet Registration opens today and we can't wait to find out who will be coming to Vancouver to win the title of Canadian Individual Poetry Slam Champion!!

Poets wishing to register as storm poets (poets who are not an official venue representative) for the Canadian Individual Poetry Slam (CIPS) taking place at Verses Festival of Words 2016 may do so here! Spots are available on a first come first served basis. CIPS occurs during the 2016 Verss Festival between April 27th and April 30th, each year the winner of this competition goes on to represent English speaking Canada during the World Poetry Slam in Paris, France (Congrats and support to last year's winner, PrufRock Shadowrunner on his upcoming adventure).

The fee for each storm poet is $75 (which can be paid via the Brown Paper Tickets link on our website), storm poet registration ends as soon as spots run out. Feel free to take a look at the FAQ section of our website to get acquainted with how the slam works.
