"One of the hottest fiddlers out there" (Asheville Citizen-Times) and "The next Alasdair Fraser" (Scotland Press and Post), Laval will perform selections from his newly released album Murmurs and Drones in a fun-filled musical evening tracing the immigration of the Scots-Irish to Appalachia. The program will include amusing stories along with the toe-tapping melodies that highlight historical and cultural ties throughout the Celtic Diaspora.
Laval will be joined by Boston-based Irish guitarist Max Newman.
