1st Tuesday featuring Dr. Julie Sullivan, President, University of St. Thomas
Dr. Julie H. Sullivan became the 15th president and first layperson and woman to serve as president of the University of St. Thomas on July 1, 2013. Previously, Dr. Sullivan served as executive vice president and provost at University of San Diego and as professor and administrator at the University of California-San Diego and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH).
Dr. Sullivan is an innovative academic leader with a purpose. She is a champion for social innovation, a leader in the Ashoka Changemaker movement, and known for her commitments to globalization and intercultural understanding.
Dr. Sullivan shares her expertise with public and private companies, as well as non-profit organizations. She is a board member of SI Group Inc., SI Group India, Loyola University Chicago, and Greater Twin Cities United Way. She also is a member of the Minnesota Business Partnership, National Association of Corporate Directors, and Minnesota Womens Economic Roundtable.
A native of Florida, Sullivan holds three degrees from the University of Florida, including a PhD in Business.

Reservations can be made for $35 per person or $15 for U of MN students. To register for the student rate please e-mail carlsonalumni@umn.edu
If space allows, walk-up registration will be available day-of for $39, and we will accept cash or check only. Refund cancellations are required by Friday, July 29.
Lunch by D'Amico is included in the registration fee. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at 11:50 a.m.
