Harvest Moon American Festival
With a keynote speaker of the greatly respected journalist, Tim Giago, Lakota, from the Pine Ridge Reservation and Grammy and Nammy winning performances such as Joanne Shenandoah, Oneida, Joy Harjo, Mvskoke (Creek), and a headliner to be announced, the event will be emceed by the former Chief of the Delaware, Actor, Radio and Television personality, Curtis Zunigha, Delaware/Isleta Pueblo. A juried art show will be led by the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City and conforms to the American Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990. Drums and dancing will fill the Union Station with a true Indian experience. A family day will occur on Sunday. This is a not for profit project for community development and supports the White Buffalo Scholarship Fund.
