Listen to Your Mother: Raleigh-Durham 2016
Join us for live readings by local writers on the beauty, the beast and the barely-rested life of mothers. In celebration of Mothers Day, 13 writers will read their personal stories about the humor, the heartbreak, and the appreciation that go hand in hand with motherhood.
KeAnne Hoeg and Marty Long are co-producers for this show in what is becoming a national movement of Listen to Your Mother shows.
You are invited to be a part of what has become a Triangle area Mother's Day tradition since 2013.
This year's show will feature 13 local writers, sharing their own personal stories on motherhood. The 2016 cast includes:

This year's show will be in Jones Auditorium on the campus of Meredith College.

LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER aims to support motherhood creatively through artistic expression, and also financially through contributions to non-profit organizations supporting families in need. LTYM:RDU donates a minimum of 10% of ticket proceeds to Women's Center of Wake County, a multi-services resource center that addresses the challenging issues of poverty and homelessness for single women and women with families.
We will also be collecting donations of money, tampons, pads, and new bras and panties the night of the show.
No refunds on tickets.
