ESTE PAN: The Music of Passover, Freedom and the season of Rebirth
ESTE PAN: Join YUVAL RON for a day long workshop followed by a public concert.
In the Workshop Learn to sing and play devotional Mizrakhi, Sefardic and Ashkenazi songs of the Hebrew tradition that usher and invoke the themes of Freedom and the Spring Season of the Rebirth. Chanting the narrative of Passover is an three thousand year old bardic tradition. Tap into the magic of bardic melodies from Middle Easterm and European Jewish traditions. The public is welcome. Musicians encouraged to bring instruments.*
CIRCLING FREEDOM: Join Yuval Ron with Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb and guests for a beautiful evening concert of devotional Hebrew music and stories about Passover, Freedom and Rebirth from the treasury of Jewish legends and real life encounters. Tales of mysterious guests, parting seas and the power of justice to bring peace.
