WE WANT TO INVITE like-minded folks to join us in Orleans, Massachusetts for a Spring lecture by Eliot Coleman. He will speak on Organic Growing Year-Round and discuss simple, inexpensive ways to maximize our harvest in the New England climate.

Relevant for backyard gardeners and farmers both, Eliot's lively presentation will be followed by a Farmers' Tea featuring hot cider & a selection of teas served by children from our Children's Gardening programs. Local food vendors will offer a variety of tastes of Cape Cod. Both Eliot Coleman, as well as his wife Barbara Damrosch, will sign their award-winning books. Reservations are highly suggested and tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20, free for farmers, students, those on SNAP or WIC, and Seniors.

During the Farmers' Tea, Barnstable County farmers will offer info & CSA sign-ups, children will show off their new school greenhouse and there will be materials available on farmers' markets (including SNAP/WIC & Senior Doubling programs).

For those who might like to make a weekend of the event, we have reserved discounted rooms at several venerable establishments of varying prices (reservation blocks under "Sustainable CAPE"):

We hope you'll join us for a weekend adventure to celebrate spring with Eliot Coleman & Barbara Damrosch as well as a great group of garden enthusiasts!

Best,

The crew at Sustainable CAPE - Center for Agricultural Preservation & Education

Note: All ticket sales will be used toward the honorarium and travel costs. Any additional funds will be shared between Sustainable CAPE's farm-to-school work (Brewster-Provincetown) and our SNAP/WIC/Senior Discount Coupon Doubling Programs so that all socio-economic groups can afford healthful, local food at Farmers' Markets. Thank you!
