The Anatomy of Frank / Manatree / Post Sixty Five at IX Art Park
**This is an INDOOR concert.** Saturday, February 27th 7pm doors / 8pm music IX art park (DIRECTIONS AT BOTTOM) -----------------------------------
The Anatomy of Frank (VA): http://theanatomyoffrank.com Performing for the first time as a trio, Virginia's legendary blenders of post-rock and pop stun with emotive epics inspired by the continents. "'North America' is Sigur Rós meets Sufjan Stevens, musically diverse and sophisticated in lyric and concept." -C-ville Weekly
Manatree: http://manatree.bandcamp.com Manatree's unique blend of guitar driven indie-something rock/math/pop has been enthralling audiences both in and out of Richmond, Virginia since 2009. They've been touring the east coast, playing in desolated post-apocalyptic cities and college towns alike, and have played with acts like Real Estate, Surfer Blood, and Darwin Deez.
Post Sixty-Five: http://postsixtyfive.bandcamp.com Born from the mind of songwriter and frontman Hicham Benhallam, the Charlottesville-based band Post Sixty Five has been described as both moody and romantic, feverishly tugging at the heartstrings of its listeners with fragile guitar lines driven by a thunderous rhythm section.
**Directions: enter via 2nd St. SE, staying left to go downhill to the art park. Park straight ahead, and the venue is on your left in the large warehouse by the famous "Love Butt" sculpture.
