Southwest Virginia Wine Festival
The Southwest Virginia Wine Festival pairs wine, mead, and cider from the region's artisan trails with music from The Crooked Road: Virginia's Heritage Music Trail. The inaugural event is on tap for Saturday, June 16, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Heartwood: Southwest Virginia's Artisan Gateway. Tickets are $20 per person in advance or $25 per person the day of the event and include admission, souvenir wine glass, food & wine tastings, and 'Round the Mountain artisan demos.
Mountain Park Old Time Band will pair big, bold tunes from The Crooked Road with red wines possessing the same character and lighter music with the whites from Abingdon Vineyard and Winery, Coltsfoot Winery, Davis Valley Winery, Foggy Ridge Cider, MountainRose Vineyards, Vincent's Vineyard, and West Wind Farm Vineyard and Winery.
