Family Folk Chorale Presents Wonder - The music of Oen Kennedy and Stevie Wonder
Join the Family Folk Chorale for our Spring Concert. The show promises to be a delightful afternoon of great songs touching on big themes that inspire: Love, Freedom, and Beauty.
Oen Kennedy, a fabulous, award-winning singer-songwriter-naturalist, master bird whistler, and long-time friend of the Family Folk Chorale, draws from diverse musical inspirations - from JS Bach to Stevie Wonder to the sounds of the natural world. The show weaves together a selection of Oen's songs with the classics of Stevie Wonder - a tribute to the creative synergy that comes from love, respect, and wonder.
Sing along with Stevie Wonder favorites "You Are the Sunshine of My Life", "I Wish", and "Superstition", as well as Oen's powerful "Freedom, Freedom" and the exhilarating "Loon" and "Sky So Black", among others!
FFC artistic director Chris Eastburn says, "This music feels especially perfect for springtime, songs filled with gratitude, sunshine and wonder!"
The concert will also feature the 2015 Songwriting Competition winning song We Stand Our Ground by Chris Naumann, a Boston-based singer-songwriter who will be joining us on stage to present his song.
The band will feature Gary Backstrom on guitar and bass, Oen Kennedy on guitar, Quinn Eastburn on fiddle, Jonah Backstrom on drums, and special guests Hatrack Gallagher on chromatic harp and Tara Greenblatt on djembe.
The Family Folk Chorale is a 60-voice multigenerational chorus whose singers range in age from 4 to 75. We seek to inspire community, compassion and discovery through music made together by families of all ages performing meaningful, uplifting songs and creating a powerful connection between audience, singers, band, and songwriters.

No refunds or exchanges. Tickets will be held at will call. If you would prefer to get your tickets by mail, please email tix @ familyfolkchorale.org with your request at least 10 days before the concert. The box office opens one hour before the show.
