Irish Dance Celebration and DVD Release with Michael Tubridy and James Keane, the Vox Hunters, and Kieran Jordan Dance
Celebrating the release of her new DVD, Kieran Jordan will present what promises to be a truly unique evening of Irish dance at the Burren. Dublin-based flute player and step dancer Michael Tubridy and New York-based accordion player James Keane two legendary artists in traditional Irish music will be there. The Kieran Jordan Dance company (featuring Kristen Kelly, Rebecca McGowan, Jackie O'Riley, and Jordan herself) will perform sean-nós and old-style step dance choreography to music by the Vox Hunters that's Armand Aromin and Benedict Gagliardi two of the most passionate young singers and instrumentalists in the New England trad music scene.
This will be a night of music, dance, and bon homme to remember.

The Burren Backroom series is now well established as one of the most sought-after boutique series of trad presentation in the world. It has already created already dozens of memorable, intimate, informal presentations held in a truly atmospheric space which was founded by well-known traditional musicians Tommy McCarthy and Louise Costello in Davis Square, Somerville, Massachusetts.
Hosted by Brian O'Donovan of A Celtic Sojourn on WGBH radio, these gatherings feature core performers from many aspects of traditional music as well as special guests, and conversations around the music. As is the custom of the Burren, it is anticipated informal and dynamic post concert sessions will be a feature.
