RED LIGHT WINTER at the EXIT Theatre
seat of your pants Productions is honored to be presenting Adam Rapp's brilliant RED LIGHT WINTER as their first show in the Bay Area. RED LIGHT WINTER received the Joseph Jefferson Award (Best New Work) in 2005 and was also a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2006.
RED LIGHT WINTER revolves around two friends, Matt (Jarrod Ackerley) and Davis (Alexander Mayes), who go to Amsterdam on a mission to help Matt get over his failed relationship. Davis brings a young prostitute named Christina (Jocelyn McMahon-Babalis) to their hostel to help Matt get past his depression and a very unusual love triangle forms. A year later, Christina finds herself at Matt's small apartment in New York City, where some major reveals happen that affect the lives of all three of them.
Directed by LA Drama Critics Circle Award winner Roger Mathey, RED LIGHT WINTER will be the premiere production from SOYP in San Francisco. seat of your pants Productions has been staging plays since 1997 and has produced a number of critically acclaimed shows including productions of The House of Yes, The Time of Your Life, and Trainspotting.
The show opens Friday February 12th and runs Thursdays Saturdays until March 5th. Tickets are $20 and Thursdays are "pay what you can" nights. This show is rated R for adult material, situations, and nudity and no one under 18 will be permitted to see the show without a parent.
