Center Stage Productions' presents a brand new adaptation of C.S. Lewis' beloved book. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe follows the four Pevensie children out of a war-filled England to a land where beavers talk and fauns are real. There they are confronted with the choice between good and evil, hope and desperation, forgiveness and regret.
Performances will be March 11, 12, 18, and 19.
Synopsis:
True to the message of redemption, this brand new adaptation of C.S. Lewis' most beloved tale The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe will pull you away from any ideas of Narnia being a story just for children and will immerse you into a land were reality and fantasy meet and where greatness is not dependent on your age, size, or race, but on your faith and courage.
With air raids endangering Londoners, Mrs. Pevensie sends off her four children to the country side to stay with an eccentric professor and his small staff including the shrewd Mrs. Macready. However, while exploring the grand house one day, Lucy (the youngest Pevensie) walks through a wardrobe and happens upon a magical realm named Narnia inhabited by mythological creatures and an evil witch. Soon enough Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter all find themselves in Narnia, fighting on the side of the true king of Narnia: the great lion Aslan.
