USGBC has a program called ADVANCE, that gives all communities a chance to live, work and play in better, brighter, and healthier places. This program is meant to serve community-service, non-profits, houses of worship and faith-based facilities, educational and cultural institutions, affordable and temporary housing, and neighborhood and homeowner associations. ADVANCE participants work with local community experts who volunteer their time as consultants to pave the path to for under-served neighborhoods and buildings to improve the energy, resource, and health performance.

Join us on May 12th to hear about USGBC Colorado's involvement and hear about a Colorado case study from Focus Points Family Resource Center, and how to become involved with the program as a participant or a volunteer consultant.  Focus Points Family Resource Center is a nonprofit organization committed to serving low-income families in the greater northeast Denver area. USGBC Colorado started working with Focus Points as a pilot study for ADVANCE in Summer of 2015.

This course is available for 1 GBCI credit!
