Geology and Waterfall Hike
Join park docent Eric Moes in exploring the intersting and varied geological history of Sugarloaf. The park has a geological history of volcanic activity, high pressure from fault lines and the effect of water gradually eroding the surface layers to expose beautiful mosiacs of rocks, including our California State Rock serpentine. Be prepared to hike 3 miles over varied terrain with a 500 foot elevation change.
