The Fabulous Fables of AESOP!
Join Jersey City Children's Theater as we perform Aesop's fables. Stories include: The Lion and the Mouse, The Ant and the Grasshopper, The Shepherd Boy, and The Fox and the Crow. After each performance, a mini-workshop will be conducted with attending children and the actors from the performance. Suitable for children 3 and older. Performance last for approximately 40 minutes, and is followed by a 15-20 minute mini-workshop.
Tickets per attendee: $12 in advance, $15 at the door.

In Story Theater, children's imaginations are ignited as they see worlds appear out of "thin air," as our actor/educators bring the language of stories and the language of movement alive onstage. Within the world of Jersey City Children's Theater, anything is possible. That is a message about theater that we hold dear, and more importantly, it is a message to children that can last a lifetime.
Story Theater is a highly interactive creative experience for children of all ages as well as adults. We teach by sharing stories from around the world and engaging children in an arts dialogue that allows them to discover storytelling, theater and language on their own terms and with a true sense of creative ownership.
