| Description |
Brighter Tomorrows 2008 - http://www.wyattshouse.org/2008conference.htm is an annual conference/fundraiser hosted by The Wyatt Holliday Foundation to accomplish its mission of advocacy, education and support of families of children with special needs. Proceeds from this event fund the operations of the Olympia-based 501c3 public charity while educating families, educators, care providers and the public about childhood disabilities. Numerous disability-related companies and organizations will await your interactions to share what they offer and how they can assist in the exhibitor area in the Pavilion.
Poster is at http://www.WyattsHouse.org/conference/skyposter.pdf - please print and share with others!
This year we are hoping to raise much-needed funding which will assist us in opening a children's center called "Wyatt's House" which will include a private special needs school (initially K-6) in the Olympia area. This will include an after school program, intesive therapy camps and weekend respite care.
Please help us reach this goal by bringing as many teachers, family and friends to this event as possible. Knowledge is power!
This year the focus is on Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome as well as special education and criminal justice law.
