Eve Ensler who wrote the first draft of the monologues in 1996 said that "Women's empowerment is deeply connected to their sexuality."
The Vagina Monologues is made up of a varying number of monologues read by 6 women. A must-see play for all women, men, and especially couples, every monologue relates to the vagina, be it through sex, love, birth, orgasm, etc. A recurring theme throughout the play is the vagina as a tool of female empowerment and individuality.
This is a Hebrew-language production with English captions performed by Israeli actors from the Jewish Circle Theater company.
