The Last Pocho Show
This will be the last Pocho show. Come and party with us, as we've done for about 18 years. It will be an evening jam packed with music and special musical guests.
These dances have been described as "just about the most fun you can have with your clothes on" and have been a tradition for conjunto music lovers across Southern California. Come have a drink or two, dance and have a great time listening to music that will surely put a smile on your face.
Los Pochos know how to lay down a foot-stompin' polka, dive into a whimsical Cumbia and then finesse a romantic Bolero. Whether singing in English or in Spanish, their music transcends language. By the end of the night, you may feel like you've somehow traveled the border from Texas to California in the matter of hours, without having left the dance floor. ¡Ajua!
Each guest will have a chance to take home prizes. Items are raffled at about 7pm. This is a family-friendly event. You are welcome to bring your own outside food (drinks must be purchased there) and parking is free.
VFW Post-1944 is located 1 block north of the 60 Freeway, between Hacienda Blvd. & Azusa Ave.
Hot tips: * Get there early for best parking and seating * Bring your own food (dinner) or munchies if you like * Bar open all night
Pre-Sale tickets are available until January 20th for $10. Tickets will be $15 at the door.
