Valentine's in Black, Remembering Johnny Cash / Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison Film Screening
"Valentine's in Black, Remembering Johnny Cash" will celebrate the life of American music legend Johnny Cash.  The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2016 at beautiful Moore's Springs Manor, 1229 Hall Road, Westfield, North Carolina at the foot of majestic Hanging Rock State Park.  Attendees are encouraged to "Dress To Impress In Your Johnny and June Best."  With the doors opening at 4:30pm the event will include beer/wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres by Chef Adam Andrews from 5:15pm to 6:30pm, oral / visual presentation by Author Michael Streissguth (Johnny Cash The Biography and Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison) from 6:30pm to 7pm, and music/dancing from 7:15pm to 9pm by The Johnny Folsom 4, North Carolina's premier Johnny Cash Tribute Band. Attendees will be eligible for raffles that include daughter Tara Cash Schwoebel signed copies of "Recollections by J.R. Cash: Childhood Memories of Johnny Cash", as well as Johnny Cash music cd's.  Michael Streissguth will also be selling and signing his books.  Advanced tickets via Brown Paper Ticket are $55 per person, $50 for current Stokes Arts members.  Day of tickets at the door will be $65 per person, $60 for Stokes Arts members.

Advanced Ticket buyers to the "Valentines in Black" event will also be admitted FREE to the Documentary Film Screening of "Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison" on Friday, February 12 at 7pm at The Dogwood Events Center, 232 Newsome Road in King, North Carolina  The screening price without the advance ticket will be $10 per person at the door.  Separate Screening tickets can be reserved by calling 336 593-8159.
