An open mic just for storytellers! A featured performer opens the night with a 1/2 hour story, followed by open mic performances.
Open Mic storytellers are asked to stay within a 10-minute limit and please no notes or written script.
This evening's featured storyteller is Margaret French whose quirky, thoughtful, humane, funny personal stories are a favorite at Caffe Lena and Woodlawn Commons. She has told stories at festivals, libraries, schools, life-long learning organizations, senior centers, nursing homes, women's groups, and historical societies and has led storytelling workshops for seniors. She is a member of the StoryCircle of the Capital District, LANES (the association for storytellers in the Northeast), and the National Storytelling Network.
