Brooklyn-based revolutionary dub artist dr. Israel has been producing underground Bass Music for close to 20 years. He boasts releases on Universal, ROIR Records, Wordsound, and MOD Technologies, as well as collaborations, remixes and vocal guest appearances with musical legends such as Bill Laswell, Mad Professor, Rancid, Sublime, Lee Perry, Dub Gabriel, DJ Krush, and many more. Major publications like Rolling Stone, Vibe, LA Times, and Village Voice among others have consistently sung his praises.

Native Vallejoan Luv Fyah is on the cutting edge of today's reggae music. Born Rahsaan Jamal Carson, Luv Fyah has been putting in major work as a performer, writer, studio musician, and a band leader. Fyah, as friends and fans affectionately call him, is one of San Francisco Bay area's top artists. He has performed on shows with Midnite from St. Croix, Wadi Gad from Trinidad, Kamani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley Tony Rebel, The Abyssinians, and Mikey dread just to name a few. Luv Fyah's roots run deep. He started drumming with his father's group The Lockdown Reggae Band in the 80's. DJ Sep is the founder, promoter, and main resident DJ at Dub Mission. Now in its 20th year, Dub Mission is one of the longest-running parties in the world, presenting cutting-edge dub, roots reggae and dancehall every second Friday at the Elbo Room. Dub Mission has featured artists from all over the world, including The Scientist, Adrian Sherwood & the ON-U Sound System, Mad Professor & the Ariwa Sound System, Mungo's Hi Fi, Soom T, Solo Banton, Jahdan Blakkamoore, Zion Train, Prince Fatty Sound System, Twilight Circus Dub Sound System, DJ Vadim, and many others. For 22 years, Sep was also on Bay Area radio: first at college radio station KUSF and later at Berkeley's public radio station, KPFA. She's the co-compiler (with producer Shockman) of Babylon Is Ours: The USA in Dub, a collection of all-exclusive American dub tracks released on Select Cuts Records. Maneesh the Twister has been a staple of the Bay Area music scene for over 15 years as part of Surya Dub, Dub Mission, and Dhamaal. Maneesh has been voted "Best Club DJ" in the SF Bay Guardian. He is the founder of the Surya Dub collective that helped kick off the Bay Area BASS era. He was co-founder of the Dhamaal Artist Collective and his productions appear on the Dhamaal Soundsystem CD as well as XBOX 360 game "Project Gotham" and Sony BMG India's Shamur compilation and Kush Arora's "Boiling Over." Maneesh has quite eclectic tastes and spins anything with BASS. He has shared the stage with legendary Jamaican producers Lee "Scratch" Perry and Scientist, Thievery Corporation, Bassnectar, Mad Professor, Francois K, Kode 9, Adrian Sherwood, Mala, The Bug and Warrior Queen, Flying Lotus, Eskmo, Visionary, Smith & Mighty/RSD, State of Bengal, , Karsh Kale, Nickodemus, Z-Trip, DJ Vadim, Liondub, Dan the Automator, Kush Arora, Dub Gabriel, Jah Warrior Shelter Hi-Fi, DJ G, Antiserum and Roommate.
