Hustle Rose:

Hustle Rose is an American soul and funk band with horns, synth, bass and drums led by singer-songwriter David Glen on lead guitar and talkbox. The new record, "Stay Up" recorded live at River Rock Studios was just released at First Avenue's Mainroom in Minneapolis, July 11th 2015.

The first single, "Make You Mine" debuted this winter with high praise from Minnesota Public Radio's 89.3 The Current. "I've been straight-up obsessed with this song "Make You Mine" ever since hearing it a few months back, and am happy to report that the band brings just as much energy to their show live. This is irresistible, bouncy, uplifting stuff"  Andrea Swensson, music reporter and the voice of the Local Current Blog.

Hustle Rose was conceived at South High School in Minneapolis, MN by singer-songwriter David Glen and bass player Chris Smith. They and drummer Miguel Hurtado all graduated together and performed beyond school. The band now features the soulful Hustle Horns section with Nelson Devereaux and Noah Ophoven-Baldwin and the most recent member to join the group, piano, organ and synth player Rob Coleman came from #MPLS, another Funk and Soul band David Glen writes, performs and records with.

Jackson and the Roosters:

The music of Jackson and the Roosters can be described in one word; infectious. The Americana group has been playing live shows for over two years and recently released their self titled, debut album, "Jackson and the Roosters" in February of 2015. The critically acclaimed band's popularity continues to spread, along with the demand for an increased number of live shows. Music from Jackson and the Rooster's debut album has been featured on national radio stations in both Minneapolis, MN and Denver, CO.

The Minneapolis based Jackson and the Rooster's debut album is diverse, intriguing and above all, captivating. From start to finish, Jackson and the Rooster's debut album has everything a true music fan desires. The album contains an exceptional blend of your favorite music. Mixed with everything from Bluegrass, to Folk, to Rock n' Roll, to Reggae, their album provides a refreshing, distinctive sound.

Front man, Jackson Chalgren's songwriting provides the backbone of what makes the highly talented group so intriguing, but the groups high-energy performances are what makes each live show an unforgettable experience. Their music will be stuck in your head for days and having you singing along at the top of your lungs.

Their energetic live shows will have you and your friends' hearts pounding, beers spilling and faces smiling. Songs like, "Down the Hatch" and "The Bank Robbin' Song" never fail to get the crowd dancing on their feet. The talented Jackson and the Roosters can also turn the switch and have the entire place change from looking like an old western barfight into a well behaved classroom. When a heartbreaking song like, "For Some Time Now" or "Look at Me" is played, a calmness sets in, captivating all.
