Voices In Harmony Presents: "Lies in the Attic: A Beatles A Cappella Musical" - 2/27, 7PM
"Lies in the Attic", an original a cappella musical, summons the music of the Beatles in a coming-of-age story set in the modern era of personal detachment, as a father and son struggle to speak the truth, and be heard. In the dusty attic of a modern suburban family, high school senior Sam Judick has just gotten in trouble with the police, and his father Randall wants answers. But honesty is a two-way street, as Randall learns when long-forgotten mementos and ghosts unleash memories of his own turbulent youth.
Voices in Harmony (VIH), is an award-winning, all-volunteer, male a cappella chorus. Known for its mastery of technically demanding close harmony, its diverse repertoire encompasses music from the classics to jazz, contemporary to patriotic, pop and traditional choral selections.
*Why Buy a "coveted" Gold Seat?
Approximately 20% of each show are reserved Gold Seats, all others are open seating. Gold Seat holders are in the primary (lower center) portion of the auditorium and don't have to arrive early to get the best seats. In addition, at each show we will have a drawing for Gold Seat holders for first-release copy of VIH's brand new "Lies In The Attic" Beatles CD, featuring songs from the show, pre-recorded at the legendary Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA.
