About the Instructor:
Dale W. Hutchings has been a professional writer for more than 40 years.  After moving to Florida in 1980, having started his writing career in Upstate New York with as advertising agency as a copywriter, Dale served for several years as the managing editor of a weekly newspaper serving the gulf beaches.  He then went on to serve as a copywriter for a St. Petersburg ad agency for several years, before serving as a PR /writer consultant for St. Petersburg College.  Upon completion of his contract with the college, for several years he operated in his own profession writing services, serving all types of clients, and then spent 10 years working for hospice care as the agency's senior writer/communications coordinator, before starting his own PR/marketing/advertising practice in 2001, which he still maintains today.  While Dale has served all types of businesses over the years, in recent years, he has heavily focused his practice more and more on authors who need marketing help to promote their books.  He is also in the process of writing a trilogy of science fiction/ fantasy books that are designed to both educate and entertain readers.  Dale is by no means new to public speaking.  Since 2001 he has been an ongoing member of City Power Toastmasters Club #911 and has spoken to all kinds of groups over the years on various aspects of marketing.
