In her early musical life, Darka was one half of the very popular NYC-based Ukrainian music duo, "Darka & Slavko" traveling to Europe several times, winning "Best International Band" honors at the first non-Soviet Ukrainian Pop Music Festival. Darka currently sings and plays keys and accordion in several Portland bands, including all-female musical collective 'The Vulva Underground'; "Mammoth inSpace" her experimental group with her partner Miri; and an international band called "The Borscht Beatniks," among others.
ANDREA ALGIERI (www.mbrascatu.com)
Born and raised in Luzzi, a small village in the southern Calabria region of Italy, Andrea Algieri is the frontman for the Portland-based Italian folk-rock band Mbrascatu. Algieri's voice exudes an expressive Italian punctuation and microphone inflection that belies years of singing Vinicio Capossela and Paolo Conte songs in the restaurants and cafes of Florence. With two albums released 2012's "Mbrascatu" and 2014's "Tempo," Mbrascatu has built a devoted, enthusiastic fanbase with regular performances around Portland in venues as varied as the Doug Fir and the Crystal Ballroom as well as packed Italian festivals in San Francisco and Seattle always with dancing, unrestrained masses.

Natalia Hougen was born in Moscow, Russia and emigrated to the U.S. in 2006. Her father, also a musician, taught her how to play the guitar when she was seventeen. Russian Folk Music is her passion. Her repertoire includes old Russian romantic songs (from the era of Anna Karenina), ballads, Gypsy songs, and Cossack Songs. She performs in both English & Russian.
PAUL SADILEK
Paul Sadilek, bass, grew up in the Portland music community and has sung and played the piano virtually all his life. He sings regularly with Cantores in Ecclesia, Cappella Romana, the Oregon Repertory Singers and Unistus, and has performed with the Portland Baroque Orchestra, the Portland Opera, Choral Cross-ties, the Oregon Bach Festival, the St. Paul Chamber Singers and Portland Symphonic Choir. He is a frequent soloist with Oregon Repertory Singers and has been a soloist with the Oregon Symphony (MassBernstein), Portland Columbia Symphony Orchestra (Pirates of Penzance and Die Fledermaus), Sinfonia Concertante (Bach Cantata), Willamette Falls Symphony (Symphonie No. 9Beethoven) and Festa Italiana.
