2015 PS163 Kindergarten tour
Welcome to PS 163! We offer school tours on the following dates:
Thursday, December 3
Thursday, December 10
Thursday, December 17
Thursday, January 7, 2016
Wednesday, January 13

Tours begin at 8:30 a.m. and usually end at around 10:00 a.m.
Please note that children are not permitted on the tours.

On the tours, parents will visit classrooms representing all of our programs -- General Education Monolingual(English), General Education Dual Language (English/Spanish), Gifted and Talented, and Integrated Co- Teaching, in addition to art, music and science rooms.

You should attend a tour of PS 163 if you:

**live in our zone
  (If you don't know your zoned school, go to
   www.schools.nyc.gov and enter your address.)

**live anywhere in District 3 and submitted a request for
  G&T testing as there is a chance you will be placed at PS
  163. There will be limited opportunities to visit later.

For all others: You may rank PS 163 on your application but it is unlikely that your child will receive placement at the school as PS 163 is a zoned school.


The Kindergarten tours will not be visiting the Pre-K classrooms. There will be separate pre-K tours in the month of March. Check the school website in February for information on how to sign up for pre-K tours.
