CICERONE
THE OCHRE HOUSE is excited about it's next production, CICERONE, a truly original and unique journey into the 1930's Art scene in Paris, written and directed by Matthew Posey.
In grand OCHRE HOUSE style, gay Paris of the '30's explodes on stage with live, original music, dance, and riveting scenes of passion and abandon that depicts a young Henry Miller's "coming to terms" with his wanderlust, his life as a writer and as a lover.
Ahh, the real Paris of the 1930's Bedbugs, broken zithers, and stinking drains thwarted love, star-crossed lovers, dysfunctional relationships and the ship of fools that prodded him onto destruction. As Henry puts it in CICERONE, "Love is self-delivered sock in the jaw."
