DONNA O'RIORDAN - Being Alive
DONNA O'RIORDAN stars in her solo cabaret debut "Being Alive", March 11-12th, 2016, 8PM at the Kranzberg Arts Center, 501 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63103.  In this one-woman show, Donna brings to life her personal story of transformation and search for love.  Along with Rick Jensen, musical director, she sings a variety of tunes from stage and screen and with selections ranging from Cole Porter to Colbie Caillat.

"Donna is a woman with a big heart, a genuine sense of humor, and a delightful voice that draws you into her story and her world.  You will not want to miss her debut solo performance!" ~Merry Keller

Directed by Lina Koutrakos. Produced by Mariposa Artists.

************************************

Donna O'Riordan is thrilled to make her cabaret debut in her hometown of St. Louis.  She is a life-long singer from as far back as she can remember, with fond memories of singing with the St. Louis County Community Chorus, church choir, and many cabaret workshops and showcase events in St. Louis and Chicago.  She is grateful to have worked with inspirational performers and teachers such as Lina Koutrakos, Rick Jensen, Beckie Menzie, Amanda McBroom, Merry Keller, and Carol Schmidt.

Rick Jensen is certainly no stranger to the St. Louis cabaret scene. The multi-talented singer, songwriter, director, and producer served as music director for many local cabaret performers and has starred in several sold-out solo performances in town. Rick's compositions have become standards on the New York City Club circuit, garnering him critical praise and earning him six Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Clubs MAC Awards including "Tonight, New York City: The Rick Jensen Songbook," written, musical directed, and hosted by Rick Jensen, directed by Lina Koutrakos at the Metropolitan Room in New York (2012).
