The BREW: Kymata and the Tribal Blues Band

Since their founding more than a decade ago, Kymata has become a prominent fixture in the Greek community. They have developed a repertoire that tops a thousand songs and spans the full spectrum of Greek styles and musical traditions including Greek hits, old pops, Rembetika (often referred to as Greek Blues), Kantades Plakiotika, and Dimotika.

The Tribal Blues Band embodies the universal and human emotion of what binds us all together - the blues; before people knew they had Simchas, they had Tzorus - the Blues. The band plays original and standard blues, jazz and funk music.
