Zoe Margolis: The Art of Sex Blogging
Zoe Margolis is a writer and journalist. She is a frequent contributor to The Guardian and The Observer newspapers, amongst many other publications, a regular guest on Sky News, and a commentator on feminism and sex, in cultural programmes like the BBC's Newsnight and Woman's Hour.
Zoe's blog, Girl With A One Track Mind began and detailed her sex life and attracted over eight million visitors in the process, won the Bloggie Award for "Best British or Irish Weblog" in both 2006 and 2007 and was ranked as the "24th Most Powerful Blog in the World" by The Observer newspaper. The blog was written under the pseudonym Abby Lee until the Sunday Times newspaper ran a feature on Zoe in 2006, which exposed her identity.
Zoe's 2006 book Girl With A One Track Mind Confessions of the Seductress Next Door which was based on the blog, is an international bestseller. Her latest book Girl With A One Track Mind: Exposed which details her experiences of being 'outed' by the media, was published in 2010. Zoe was the subject of the critically acclaimed Channel 4 documentary, The Sex Blog Girls.
Zoe is an ambassador for the sexual health charity Brook, for which she campaigns for improved access to sex education and services for young people, most recently with fundraising comedy event 'Sex Appeal'.
