Illvis Freshly has officially found the funk, and moulded it in to a bass heavy, hip hop monster. They've blended the classic sample heavy hip hop sound of the 90s with live rock n roll guitar, harmonica and scratching. The two MCs, Danimal House and Doc Zoo, bring high energy, raw, and unforgiving lyrics with complex flows and a wide variety of content and themes. The Funkee Wadd brings some hella correct cuts and is always bringing the flavour and keeping the party live. Groundskeeper Philly absolutely shreds the guitar, captivating the crowd with face melting riffs and his ridiculously entertaining antics. Illvis Freshly just released their first full length album "What Chu Know About Illvis?", receiving huge support from the world-wide Hip Hop, Funk, and Electronic scenes. They have had the chance to share the stage with many incredible acts such as Souls Of Mischief, Neon Steve, Obie Trice, Skiitour, Stickybuds, Ghettosocks, Emotionz, Scott Jackson, Fresh Killz, and many more. The summer of 2015 has been a pivotal year for the boys, heading all across BC performing at amazing festivals such as Atmosphere Gathering, Shambhala Music Festival and local festivals, Rifflandia and Tall Tree Music Festival, where they were voted in by the community of Victoria and beyond to perform. Illvis Freshly is bringing the ruckus to the west coast, straight goods.

THE NEW GROOVEMENT
The New Groovement is high intensity funk machine that blends elements of R&B, soul, and hip hop to create a funk-i-fied feast for the ears. The band's sound is as unique as it is versatile with its punchy horns, sweet vocals, clever rhymes, and tight percussion. This is energetic, feel-good music that will get you out of your seat and onto the dance floor!
At the forefront of the band are Theresa Pasaluko and her partner-in-rhyme, Danimal House. Together, they can soothe with sultry, sweet ballads or slay with sharp cutting rhymes. Backing them up is a solid rhythm and percussion section that lays down funky beats while the horn section gets crowds going with tasty licks and dance moves that would make James Brown proud
The New Groovement is a rising star in BC's music scene, playing all of Southern Vancouver Island's biggest festivals such as the TD Victoria International Jazz Festival, Victoria Ska Fest, Tall Tree Music Festival, FernFest, Rifflandia, and Canada Day. They also recently concluded their first tour to the mainland, where they performed in Vancouver and headlined the Smithers Midsummer Festival. The group even played to 50,000 people as part of the Victoria Day parade.
This up-and-coming group has quickly made a name for itself with its massive shows and energetic parties; it's one band you will not want to miss! They are currently working with producer Joby Baker (producer of Alex Cuba's Grammy-winning album) to record their first full-length studio album released earlier this year.

DIA-NOS
Dia-Nos consists of two Musicians, one Dia the other Nostic. Dia-Nos use ancient sayings, symbols, and instruments, combined with a modern sound in there music. Dia & Nostic produce their beats as a team. Live; Dia vibrantly djs through a Kaoss Pad while Nostic spits over it in a multitude of languages including: English, Spanish, Latin & Greek. Their music consists of tribal, Word, Hip-Hop, House, Electro, Trap, Chill and more.

THE FUNKEE WADD
The Funkee Wadd, born of an extraordinary man deemed Montgomery, and an angelic being by the name Of Mary-Helen, he has come to the western coast of British Columbia to bring one thing, and one thing only, Bass. With a main focus on the funk and breaks, he is no stranger to elevating a dance floor with the likes of jungle, sexy deep house, the glitchiest of glitch hop, electro soul, and anything else that may cause a booty popping effect or head banging tendencies. The Funkee Wadd has had the privilege of sharing the stage with many acts such as The Funk Hunters, Stickybuds, Mat The Alien, JFB, Basement Freaks, Slynk, A Skillz, SkiiTour, Father Funk, WBBL, and many, many other talented individuals. This summer The Funkee Wadd headed to England to play the Ghetto Funk Shindig Weekender, as well as perform at many festivals around Alberta and BC, such as Atmosphere Gathering, Astral Harvest Music Festival, Shambhala Music Festival, Tall Tree Music Festival as The Funkee Wadd and with new musical endeavour, Illvis Freshly. The Funkee Wadd and his golden(Steel) Harmonica are known for causing a dance floor to get all types of wiggly, and will always make sure you leave the floor weak in the knees and fiending for more.
