Fundamentals of Narrative Improv Play
This is a 3 week class that meets at Fine Arts Center of Forest Acres Wednesdays (6/6, 6/13 & 6/20) from 6pm to 8pm.
Everyone can benefit from improvisation. Whether you want to be a more collaborative performer, a more engaging storyteller at the office, a quicker thinker or to simply interact better with others, you'll find this class to be an incredibly valuable experience. Working actor & teaching improv artist Vicky Saye Henderson will show you how the basic rules and tools of this highly interactive medium are the same principles of most any cooperative pursuit.Make some new friends, have a lot of fun, gain a versatile new skill set and prove to yourself that there's real magic to be found outside your comfort zone. Topics covered include how to speed up your thought process, effectively combine your ideas with those of others, create trust with a partner, and build strong stories fast. Come and play!
