TUDOR CHOIR 2012-2013 SUBSCRIPTION SERIES
THE TUDOR CHOIR 20th ANNIVERSARY SEASON 2012-2013
Featuring Tallis' 40-part Spem in alium and Allegri's legendary Miserere plus an encore performance by the world-renowned Tallis Scholars.
THE TUDOR CHOIR CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY with a five-concert subscription series of four concerts at historic Blessed Sacrament Church in Seattle's University District, where the choir is a resident ensemble, and a Thanksgiving weekend concert at Town Hall. Concert programming will include Tallis' 40-part Spem in alium and Allegri's legendary Miserere, as well as the choir's annual Christmas concert, this year with brass quintet, at the end of December. The season also will see the release of a new Tudor Choir CD--a disc of Tudor polyphony that will be previewed in the season opening concert.
The Tudor Choir also presents the world renowned Tallis Scholars on Friday, December 7. The Tallis Scholars concert is not part of the five-concert subscription series. Tallis Scholars tickets may be purchased separately at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/242471.
Subscriptions include a ticket to each of the Tudor Choir concerts listed below, EXCEPT the Tallis Scholars concert. Subscription prices represent more than a 20% discount off single ticket prices, and subscribers and their guests sit in a reserved section in the front of the church and Town Hall.
For those that might be out of town for the holidays, take advantage of subscription savings and simply give your November or December concert tickets away as a gift!
