Overtime (NSFW): Does your boss make awkward and inappropriate jokes at the office? Do you have a co-worker who loudly argues with his wife over the phone all day? Are you the person with an obscure job tale you'd like to share? Well, then, we want to hear from you!
The Garys bring great improv comedy to The Tank. The Garys are a team of eight NYC-based long-form improvisers who formed in 2009 while training at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC. Collectively, members have studied improv, sketch and theatre at The Magnet (NYC), Second City (Chicago), BMI, and with teachers from iO (Chicago). The Garys have performed all over New York as well as at the Boston Improv Festival, The Providence Improv Festival, the Del Close Marathon, the NYC Improv Festival and, most recently have been invited to perform at the 15th annual Chicago Improv Festival in April. In May of 2011, The Garys produced and hosted The Garathon, a highly successful sixteen-team elimination-style improv tournament and are currently planning The Garathon II for June of 2012. The Garys are directed by Will Storie of UCBT Harold teams Raynard and The Bishop.
