Active Living-Active Giving Concert
Join I Challenge Myself for an unforgettable evening of live jazz and blues at The Bowery Electric.

Mix and mingle with young professionals, the young at heart, avid athletes and music lovers!

Open bar from 6-8pm. Live performances from 3 talented local artists:

1. Ayanna Lee
Ayanna is a Brooklyn based singer-songwriter currently working on the upcoming release of her EP:5(five). Hailing from her hometown of Washington,D.C., her musical roots started in her house growing up with her dad, a drummer, and mother both music lovers. Her sound encompasses tones of soul, jazz, funk, folk, and rock and has been described as "comfort food". She is slowly shaping a new genre in music she has coined: alternative soul. She gigs weekly in Brooklyn for more info contact at: ayannaleemusic@gmail.com, youtube, facebook,and tumbler links.
   
2. Valerie Larsen
A native of Salt Lake City Utah, Valerie Larsen's smooth and clever writing style spans a broad range of influences.  From Joanie Mitchell to Stevie Wonder she catches the ear with her polished vocals and vulnerable lyrics.

3. The Ray Khalil Trio
Ray is a jazz guitarist with extensive experience in the music industry and has been playing guitar and composing music for the past 20-years. Ray currently performs in various venues in NYC, nationally and abroad.  Ray has performed with the following artists: Branford Marsalis, Charles Fambrough, Andy Bey, Warren Hill, Wallace Roney, Gerry Gibbs, Boris Kozlow, Joris Teepe, Shingo Okudaira, and Tim Armacost.

Your donations will help I Challenge Myself continue to offer Cycling Smarts and the College Bike Tour programs at four NYC public high schools for the 2012-2013 School Year.

Tickets:
 $55- Minimum Donation
$75- Suggested Donation
$100- Bronze Donor (Two-hour bike safety drill session for 15-20 Cycling Smarts students)
$150- Silver Donor (10-mile training ride for 15-20 Cycling Smarts students)
$200- Gold Donor (15-20 mile training ride for 15-20 Cycling Smarts students)
$500- Olympian Donor (All of the above plus medals for 15-20 students). Top tier acknowledgement on event promotional materials.

$80 at the door- cash only. Early Bird tickets are sold out.

I Challenge Myself is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donations are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
