No. 046 Americana Fantastico Shitty Barn Session: For the Sake of The Song
By now, pretty much everyone on earth has heard Steve Earle's proclamation that "Townes Van Zandt is the best songwriter in the whole world and I'll stand on Bob Dylan's coffee table in my cowboy boots and say that." If you're familiar with TVZ, it's hard to argue the point but nice to be reminded. If you're not, why not come and find out what all the fuss is about? Leading our audio-visual investigation will be Nath Dresser, Bob Weinswig and Josh Harty, all of whom are singing/songwritin' fools their own damn selves. They will take us through some of the TVZ canon while we watch "Be Here To Love Me", an enlightening, engaging and tragic biography of our musical hero.
