Charles Chocolates Talk and Book Signing with Elizabeth Falkner

With our Chocolate Bar opening in June of this year, all of us at Charles Chocolates have been thinking of ways to share the chocolate making experience. We are already giving tours of the factory several times a week, and now were launching a speaker series so that all of you can meet and talk to local authors, influential members of the food world and chocolate lovers like us.

And what better way to start off our speaker series than with Elizabeth Falkner, founder and executive chef of Citizen Cake in San Francisco and one of the countrys premier pastry chefs. Recognizing the need for a contemporary, quality pastry shop in the Bay Area, Elizabeth opened Citizen Cake in October 1997. Citizen Cake is a retail pastisserie featuring contemporary cakes, chocolates, breads, pastries and ice creams all made in house.

In October of this year, Elizabeth published her first book, Demolition Desserts. Join us as Elizabeth signs copies of her new book and discusses her experience in the Bay Area food world.
