Pete Huttlinger
Pete Huttlinger has become widely known as an awe-inspiring and entertaining acoustic guitar. His unique arrangements and spell-binding musicality and precision have captivated audiences from Los Angeles to Milan.
Huttlinger is a national champion guitar player having won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship at Walnut Valley in 2000. As a recording artist Huttlinger has released numerous albums and received to critical acclaim, from "Naked Pop" to his current instrumental tour de force, "McGuire's Landing." Pete Huttlniger made his solo debut at world-famous Carnegie Hall in 2008 showcasing his joyful sense of humor and mind-blowing chops. He returned again in 2010 by demand of New York fans. In 2004, 2007 and 2010, he was invited to participate in Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festivals.
In addition to his concert touring schedule, Huttlinger also travels the country speaking to audiences about what he's learned from surviving both a major stroke and end-state heart failure. His presentation, "Don't Just Live, Live Well," describes how he has overcome what seemed to be insurmountable obstacles, and has been presented at the International Stroke Conference, Northwestern Medical School, and numerous conferences and businesses.
Huttlinger also makes appearances as a side-man playing guitar for household names such as LeAnn Rimes, Faith Hill, John Oates (of Hall & Oates) and formerly John Denver. Huttlinger also appeared with Rimes on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" and made an acoustic recording with her that was sold as an exclusive download through Kellog's. He toured with John Denver for the last four years of John's life and often tours with pop icon John Oates of Hall & Oates.
